Hello. I've recently started playing on this server (Medivh), and I'm usually using a VPN. Is that somehow forbidden on this server?
I've searched the forums for posts regarding VPNs, but I couldn't find any answers.
On some servers they rolled out a complete VPN-Ban, so I'd like to know if that's the case here, too, since I don't want to lose my account right away.

It's not straight up forbidden, but many are (and certainly many more will be) permanently banned out of being consistently used to break our rules. Still the ban wouldn't be on your account, but on the VPN IP you used - unless yo broke rules yourself, of course.

So, that means, you're banning whole IP-Ranges from specific providers? And if someone breaks the rules and you'd do that, I could switch off the VPN and keep playing, right?

If you happen to land on a banned IP like that your account will show as banned, but all you will need to do is contact Support with an email to [email protected] to have the access cleared up.
