Saying the factions are nearing each other in population is great and all, but the actual ganking in game hasn't changed whatsoever. It won't change, either. Having 5 horde gang up on 1-2 Ally is the norm and your attempts haven't changed that issue at all.
Now, I know I'm going to get a lot of flack from players that can't add 1 plus 1, I understand that.
Let's see:
Alliance gets owned in every area, even their own Ally Questing Zones, making leveling next to impossible. Two possible solutions could magically fix this issue but wait, Ally players will be against this issue, as they were on Global. As being ganked 5v1 by Horde is their dream come true. The only way this even makes sense to me is this: Alliance are all women that love to *****, and by giving them a real reason to ***** they don't actually want a fix to the faction ratio and gank levels, that would remove their ability to *****.
??
Anyhow, on to my two very easy thought of fixes, that wouldn't affect anyone but griefers.
Option 1: Disable WPvP for a month for players under level 50, they simply can't be targeted or target enemy players until level 50. This gives the average player enough time to gear up, learn his class, grab a mount to run away on. It would also remove the entire ganking scene.
If that's too much to do (Replace do with comprehend if need be)
Option 2: Disable WPvP for a month from level 70 players while they are in low level areas, such as Darkshire.
Why does a 70 Horde need WPvP in Duskwood? I don't know. I guess that would go against the whole "Blizz-like" feeling we're going for, what, with our x5 Experience rate, Free mount training and Faction swaps.
