Transparency about last few days of lag

    Helll Warmane staff,

A lot of players, myself included, would appreciate a lot if you could let us know a bit more about the latency situation on Outland. From all the information we had in the period of 31'st may - 1st june, there was a DDoS attack which has been mitigated. For the past few days, however, the game is, at times, impossibly hard to play, especially for melee players, due to latency issues. Same issues have been brought up by raiders aswell.

As a premium user, I don't really mind logging on and seeing that the game is unplayable, I'll just log off and do something else. But if I would wait in queue for 4-5 hours to see that, I would be pretty upset I imagine.

Please keep the community informed about these issues!

    Peace

    Hey,

i started playing on Warmane 2 Days ago and noticed that the "lag-situation" was in my exp. very zone based. In the Zones with low number of players i had no problems with lag - latency and other stuff. As i came to the more populated zones i wasnt able to play normaly.
Tanaris is a good example there: 600-1000 ms, high delay while Blasted lands: 30 ms, nothing at all.

I hope they do something about it.

    Greetings

Same with bgs, 80% of the time unplayable as melee.

We did have a web message explaining it but it eventually got removed. The reason for delay was network issues and packet loss with our host provider. As this is not an issue on our end, nor the players' end we had to wait for the host provider to resolve it.

There should be no 'lag' from today.

keeping the message up 'till the issue had been resolved would've cleared up a lot of confusion tho
