1. Arena ladder ratings WAY too low

The highest team is barely 2100... live it was reaching 3000 by this point. That is an unbelievable amount of arena points per week people are missing out on. Its unachieveable

  2. In TBC there is no (or very poor) matchmaking system, 2200 in retail tbc was 2600 in wotlk

  3. 3k arena team in season 1 ? I think you never played wow back in tbc.

  4. TBC had no MMR.
TBC used a different rating system and calculation. Highest rating ever seen was around 2.6k.

Blizzard changed that system around at least 6 or 7 times since TBC. Stop comparing retail to TBC.

  5. In tbc the highest rating was around 2700, on lk 3200. But with this population we will get r1 around 2400.

here its 3v3 ladder from October 12th 2007 (last month of season 2)

  6. Rating on its own means nothing, it's just a number, it only has meaning in correlation to (rest/) average. A 100 can be 3 times higher than 3000.

  7. You can't compare Warmane and Retail atm. Retail had a whole Battlegroup consisted of multiple servers que into each other as well implemented arena que system. That means if you que with 2400 2v2, you can't fight 1500 rated team in 2v2. On Warmane, and all other servers, you can fight team thats 900 rating bellow and get 0 rating for a win, and ofc loose 30-32 if you loose. Highest rating I saw was Avishany having 2400 2v2 on Feenix, and that's it. Dunno what was for old AT exactly.

  8. Rating on its own means nothing, it's just a number, it only has meaning in correlation to (rest/) average. A 100 can be 3 times higher than 3000.
If gear is locked behind points and , later on, rating, then if r1 is 100 you will NEVER get any arena gear, thus, yes, rating on its own means something.

  9. If gear is locked behind points and , later on, rating, then if r1 is 100 you will NEVER get any arena gear, thus, yes, rating on its own means something.
You missed my point and are now mixing topics.

  10. Blue meant its only number on its own and does not have any special meaning on its own,it can be 1k,3k,100 or bilion. It solely depends on people playing for r1 exclusivly and current r1 in order to incentify pushing rating to higher point as well as being a line for gear up.

Highest rating during retail TBC was around 2.9k rating, and this was at the end of S4.

  12. Show me EU or US ladder not some wintraders from CHINA.

This 2900 team, achieved 900 rating in 1 night. Its just poor wintrade.

  13. It doesn't matter what the actual rating is as long as everyone is on the same system. Sure, you get less points at 2100 compared to 3000 but everyone's at the same speed and WoW is a grindy game- you should have to put at least a little effort in to get your gear
