Technical Stuck on "logging in to game server" and realm selection screen.

Ive been sitting at my computer for the last 3 hours trying to connect and it wont let me through. ive been stuck on "logging in to game server" -> realm selection screen all this time. I cant even access my character select screen.

this is happening on the Icecrown server
I tried going into Neltharion (Cata) and i had the same result
im not tech savvy but im 100% sure this means there's a problem with my computer reaching warmane.

Im not doing anything different than what ive been doing to login these last two months
already restarted my pc 3 times
restarted wow a couple hundred times
my realmlist is "set realmlist logon.warmane.com" (without the commas)
my internet is working on 10mbps as it has been for the last 4 years and is plugged in, connected and working perfectly at this very moment as well as the last 3 hours
i dont have any torrents on or am using memory-eating programs

ive browsed the forums the last 45 minutes and only thing i found was a thread in portuguese from which i can hardly make out that the player cant access the wotlk servers, with no answers.

wtf do i do????

This is happening to me as well but on Outland. Not sure what else to try.
