Hey everyone. Wanted to share where I am and get some input from you pros.

I 5box a PvE team on Lordaeron. Hit 80 a while ago, just picking them back up again. When I dinged, it was pre-ICC patch, so working on gearing up and learning the ICC dungeons etc.

I main a DK tank and have 4 ret pallies per this forum's suggestion. Loving it so far, only a few trouble spots which are most likely directly related to gear at this point.

So I can farm FoS normal, can take down Garfrost consistently, I've killed Ick a few times but more often than not the movement out of poison/pursuit gets me so I don't bother anymore. At this rate, that's pretty much all I can do reliably for EoTs.

(So without RDF there is really no way to earn bonus emblems???)

I'm also, slowly, trying to level professions, nearing max level enchanting on my main just to DE all the green gear I'm picking up, loathing having to level mining and BS etc. but right now focusing on getting decently outfitted, hopefully being able to farm for epic drops soon.

So what's your priority order after 80 with your teams? I tried an ICC10 trash farm and got completely and utterly destroyed by the first two mobs (not used to the working/exploding, always farmed this super easy on old Molten realms...)

Should I just continue farming FoS and Garfrost, rinse and repeat, to fill out my EoT gear? That seems like it is going to take weeks, I thought it was slow enough with RDF HC chaining... Should I drop everything and rush BS to craft the best gear I can x5? Seems super expensive. Should I be hawking the AH for gold and buying 245/264 crafted pieces? Again, they are incredibly expensive on Lord.

Or am I missing something completely stupid and obvious here? I'm really not used to things working without RDF so I feel a little lost and stuck! Would love to know what you all do to get your teams rolling on their way to unlimited power.

Oh, and I cannot kill Tryannus to save my life. Can't tank him in a corner and heal through, the ice patches/movement/POWER... OVERWHELMING are just too much to manage with the team and trying to keep my tank alive, so haven't cleared that yet.
