Well, it's good you posted this here and not in a ticket or in the bug tracker.

...because this is not a bug.

You cannot fly directly between Thrallmar and Shattrath. You have to make the link at either Stonebreaker Hold in Terrokar Forest or Falcon Watch in Hellfire Peninsula.
