I wonder how is creating a casino,a roll game, equal to a scam. I didn't even actually trade anyone or even scammed anyone, I already got banned for it.
All I did was I sent a message in global chat, that i am doing a roll casino game, if you want the play the rules are you trade me the gold and then you roll if you roll from 69-99 you get double your gold back, if you roll from 100-100 you get three times the gold back, but if you roll anything under 69 you lose the gold you traded to me. So people, if they want a fun way of getting or losing their gold, they come to me and play. How am I scamming someone in this situation? I am there to provide fun and a way to gain gold if you are lucky enough, it's their choice to come and try to play this sort of a "game". I have never taken gold from someone for nothing. They come, they trade me, they roll <69 i keep the gold they roll >69 they get double their gold. I am providing them the thing i've stated earlier, i am not getting their gold with disinformation or any type of fraud. Once they roll over 69 and I don't provide them with gold i've promised, then should be the only time i can get banned. But i see for some odd reason it's not how it should be. Please can any GM explain this to me.
Hello good sir, the link you provided has the answer you seek under NO SOCIAL MISTREATMENT OR ANNOYANCE section, i can paste it for you.
"Casinos": Creating ingame casinos to let people roll for gold or other ingame good is forbidden. Those games end up most of the time as scams and are therefor forbidden.
Now, you might not have scammed anyone or intended to of course, but before you do these kind of things. Please do read the rules so you don't end up in situation you are now. You can of course make ban appeal.
