Your race basically became irrelevant after vanilla and your pathetic race hasn't received any lore development in recent years. Gnomes are sidekicks to the dwarves who are the sidekicks of humans but at least dwarves got lore development where as gnomes are such a lost cause that even blizzard doesn't want to give them an expansion or lore development. The only gnome I've ever liked was Millhouse Manastorm he was pretty cool and badass.
