is population on outland annoying ?

(sorry for gramma,english is not my native language)Hi, atm i am playing on medivh its nice but in the future i want to pvp only. Also i dont have much time to play so leveling is really slow.

Before Outland was realesed it was perfect place for me,x5 so it should be fast. But i read so many comments that all spots for mines,herbs are occupied all the time and any other farming spots too. So i want to ask how it looks right now?
If i roll here is there a chance to level proffesions like mining,engineering? Or without gold its not worh to try.
Farming gold is also hard? People everywhere? Doing quests is rather smooth or also u have to spent lot of time waiting for respawn. Also locations in Outland like hellfire penisula,netherstorm etc are full of players? Can u do daily quests without 5man group and fight for each mob?

I dropped mining after spending 4 hours to get 175-220. Every low level.mining zone has 5+ 70s farming.

I dont know about engi. BS costs 10.000 gold 1-375 and you can farm 150g/hour depending on how much players there are. Do you mind spending 60 hours farming gold to level blacksmithing?
Only daily quests worth doing are the ones that dont require you to kill mobs or collect items.

Farming gold is extremely hard and prices are 3x of a normal server
