WotLK Boosted Character - Not receiving boosted gold reward for quests

I've spent the Warmane Coins to boost to level 80, and I'm not seeing the boosted gold rewards that a character at level 80 usually gets when finishing up a quest. The starter zone Northrend quests tell me the reward is say, 75s and I receive 75s instead of what should probably be 5g or so.

Is this a problem related to the fact that I boosted my character?

did you relog after logging in initially?
sometimes thats the problem, also did you check on the experience eliminators for twinks

Yes, logged in several times already and still only receiving the low end pay outs for the quest rewards. The rest of my buddies who have also boosted to 80 are having this same problem. All the other gold boosts are working fine, just that the quest rewards are paying out like I'm not level 80.

I did not check out any experience eliminator, would that be turned on by default for some reason?

it's possible, just select the option to enable experience gain; also have you tried to wait out a server reset and see whether it's still happening thereafter

Where would I check to see if the experience eliminator is turned on? That would make sense if it was turned on and I wasn't getting the bonus gold, but I am absolutely certain that I have not turned it on since starting my character. A few days ago, I started him at level 1 and immediately boosted him to 80, hell I don't even have flight paths unlocked let alone spent time wandering around looking for an NPC to turn off experience boosting.

im pretty sure you can't if you're already level capped, just select the option to enable it and pay the 10g

in any case it's probably a glitch that may or may not be related to the experience eliminator at the very least it's worth a shot tho
