WotLK Ragnaros old player (my character, coins)

I am an old player , I quit wow since 2015. now my character donation coins that I spent about 207 are gone. I was playing in ragnaros realm.
now I join to wow so I hear that you open TBC. I already start to play in TBC expansion. so what will happened to my previous character and coins.
if they are dismissed please refund my coins, so I can spend on TBC. I am really shocked! please update me about this issue.
