1. Ninja in Dungeon

So i got 5 day ban for ninja in dungeons, now i would not care if it was true and if i was the one who need all the time on items in dungeons.
When i do press need its only for two reasons, some person is needing all the items even blue, green ...or some party member is intentionally needing an item offspec or has already a better item equipped so some other member doesnt get it... for example Needle-Trinket in FOS-Dungeon... happened many times.
So i press need so this person doesnt get it, and if it was really needed by some a party member i trade it to him if i had won the item.
I dont care how many screenshots you have as evidence it does not say anything about the situation why someone pressed for need.
Its mostly players who know each other in the party and think they can do whatever they want and support each other while reporting other players for fun.

Now getting banned for ninja in dungeons and getting screwd by ninjalooters in raids many times kinda makes this game really annoying to play.

Here is my suggestion to staff and players:
Go to the armory (Statistics-->Character-->Gear) of that player reported or you wish to report and check the need/greed ratio for loot.
If its close to 1:1 or even higher for need vs greed and there is a significant high number on greed and need rolls then the probability that this person is a ninjalooter is very high and the ban would be justified just by those statistics.
Yes its still not a perfect indicator for ninjalooting, but at least more plausible than a screenshot provided by some player who want to ban a player intentionally.
You can make the statistic more accurate if you collect the greed and need rolls for dungeons separately and compare it to the overall needs on items per dungeon and also sum of all rolls/need-greed ratio for all dungeons.
It can be automatized with warnings for players if they get close to the 1:1 ratio or whatever ratio sounds fair. If its to be a failproof perfect system you can collect the overall itemlevel or gearscore and activated spec at roll compared to the itemlevel of the item rolled for.
With all those extras it can be applied to raids too with permanent need before greed raidroll on all items.

I know it doesnt need to be all perfect to tell if a player is guilty for ninjalooting but the basic ratio under Statistics-->Character-->Gear should be enough to tell if the reported player should be banned or not.

  2. All that matters are the loot rules stated at the start. For you to get banned, you didn't follow the rules. It isn't you who decides who deserves certain loot, but the agreed loot rules. If you dislike the loot rules for the raid, leave. Trying to "do justice by your own hands" and going against them will just have this result.
