WotLK Cannot send "soulbound" BoA item to alt. character

Hi, recently bought Tattered Dreadmist Mantle with 40 triumph emblems, immediately put a Greater Inscription of the Storm on it and went to send it to an alt and whala, it said it was soulbound.

I've done this on multiple occasions on retail and back on molten, back then the enchant either worked, or you would still be able to equip it on your alt character but not obtain the stats until level 80 (at some point it was hotfixed late wotlk or early cata to give the enchant a level requirement, dont remember exactly when). This is the first time it's ever been soulbound, feels like a waste of 40 emblems.

i believe you have to replace it with a lower level enchant.

Welp, just did that with the 30 stamina 15 resil enchant (the enchant I know for a fact works) and it is still soulbound.

GG, first 40 triumph and first 10k honour down the drain LOL

I did that aswell :( said to just report it to the bug tracker, which I ended up finding a previous thread for.. oh well. Appreciate the responses fam <3
