Technical WOTLK Settings reset each startup

Every time I start the client the screen resolution and all other settings reset. I have to go into the settings and change them all to my preferred settings every single time I try to play. I do not know why this would happen or how I would go about putting together a fix.

Leaving this for other ppl with the same issue (I played like 2 weeks like this, some friends as well) just delete the config.wtf in the wow folder, log in do your configs then remember to log out via the 'esc' menu aka don't alt+f4 and it should save just fine.
