I don't understand why you released the shield instantly then? It has equally low drop chance and very few had it when you released it in the store.

Why hold DST hostage for insentive for people to do t4 content? It's not like it's a melee favoured expansion anyway.

I get that it's rare but I thought that's why you have the store. So people can donate to get items that just won't drop for them from repeatably cleared content.

DST is arguably the best melee trinket in the expansion. Only sunwell's trinket gets close, but in different situations DST is still superior. So what are you guys talking about ? Releasing sunwell quality item in a, basically, T5 content server ? Thats b****.

Pretty sure plenty of people (including myself) sold a big part of our gold for coins to be able to buy a promised trinket , now you back out , no trinket no gold, lovely.

Yes, its messed up. I bought coins at the beginning of the weekend to prepare to buy the DST. This should at least be addressed also.

Initially our thought was to release it for cost + restrictions (like clearing x boss or doing y instance z times).

After further discussions within staff, DST won't be released for now with respect to progression and how much of them have actually been obtained in-game so far, very little.

Can you PLEASE make those official statements somewhere in a more public/official section rather than a random thread reply on the forums. It's superhard to find those sometimes and they are very important to the warmane community. I'm not bashing, I'm giving valuable feedback.

What respect to progression? Most guilds were exploiting certain bosses and most bosses are still bugged / under tuned and you say you don't want to release a trinket out of respect for progression?

Why not just make it available to people who have cleared all content in game since you think it affected progression?

Our guild has cleared Hyjal twice now and not a single person has DST.

So what would a DST matter now if u clear everything without it ? NOTHING!
1 stupid Trinket isnt the issue if u can't kill Boss XY. No matter if its Kara or Sunwell.
And getting the Item of a Boss is way more rewarding than buying it from a Store...
For now just wait or idk just don't bother with that Trinket at all
