The gold Squish that was done last year, was, in my opinion needed, and the results have been gold is more valuable., it serves a purpose in game now, and was shown to be a plus.
This years gold reduction makes zero sense. the increase of the gold sellers has been due in part to gold becoming more valuable. gold sellers did exist before the squish, however nothing like now. Another 50% squish will only increase these guys, not decrease them, in addition, if the server is set on a gold reduction, do a more moderate one, 20% would be acceptable, and server to control inflation
If the 50% is carried out, not only will you fail to slow down gold sellers, it will only increase. they are kept in check by the increase rate at which we get gold. Not the increased difficulty. It will only serve to exacerbate an already growing problem....(supply and demand guys.....)
Just FYI. This is coming from someone that doesn't use gold, I don't have a massive stock pile, and have little to no use for it, seeing as I have 10 guild banks full of any material that I could ever need. Just wanted to throw in some reason to counter that to which is the insanity of this gold squish.

"The rich get richer and the poor get poorer" Everyone will buy out items.. matrials.. enything that sells good.. AND WHEN market prices gets back to NORMAL will sell them.. First two months every items will be so cheap.. because EVERYONE will try to sell their HOARDER loot.....
I remember last 50% cut Action house was so BROKEN.. prices that normaly whent 200-500 where 30-90 MAX.. because everyone where selling their Stockpiles of loot
Good idea would be to let them cut all ur gold.. and after cut buy out all the cheap items and after 2 months u will get 3x gold back..
Exsample you have 50k gold after cut u will get 25k.. after 2 months u will profit of 75k-100k) Because of broken AH prices.
First months anything that sells good will be 80% cheaper as usually.. later when prices goes back to normal you can resell the items and make big profit.. even more than those starting 50k that got cutted..
(I work alot around acction house i know this will happen again..)

Yeah only thing the goldsellers would have to do is go along with the inflation wave. It's clearly obvious that after the squish gold is going to sell for higher value on Warmane market, and also among goldsellers. Prices (coins) may actually stay same, as you would simply pay same money or coins for less gold.
Meanwhile they still stay making same money/coin for one hour and that is what counts.
Basically i believe this squish will have minimal impact on bots and goldsellers.

I personally will love tis years 50% cut.. will buy out all the broken under priced items and resell latter for 4x price <3

Guilt of "gold sellers" getting "stronger" is only and ONLY on players of Warmane. Why would you even consider buying gold at 3RD party website? Why would you even risk your private information by buying in-game currency from somewhere else? I mean i never bought gold ever, like i don't see point in spending my moneh when i can farm gold easily like any normal player would, but that is the preference that varies from player to player i guess. At least when buying gold, buy it from Warmane and there will be no problems.
