1. Wotlk Low GPU and CPU Usage

Hey guys im Having problems with my gaming expirience in wotlk expansion gaining too low fps ingame. It wasnt like that around 2009 and 2010 when i had much lower budget machine and now i have a laptop with gtx 870m and i7-4810mq with 8 gb of ram and computer with gtx 1070 with i7 6700k and 16gb of ram and i have the problem on both machines. I checked the usage of GPUs and CPUs with MSI Afterburner and it shows that GPUs are using maximum around 50% of their full potential and CPUs around 20-30%. I forgot to mention that my fps in northrend zones is 40-50 and in towns like dalaran and stormwind drops to 30-40 which is insanly low for theese specs i got. Does anyone else had this problem and if yes please share the solution.

  2. Check if wow is actually being ran on your GPU and not on an integrated card. CPU usage is fine iirc.

  3. yes, its using 870m ....it`s the same with 1070

  4. Sure it's not some addon then? Did you try without addons?

  5. WoW, mostly the older expansions, are barely optimized, so low hardware usage is perfectly normal, but getting such low FPS probably isn't, don't know. If turning off some addons doesn't work, you can try reinstalling the client. Or just lower the graphics and see how it goes. As i said, terribly optimized

  6. Its most likely some of your addons .. delete them and try again ( not all addons just these added by you )
