Technical Error creating character

Hello, I just downloaded the game and opened Wow.exe. Upon character creation (I'm on Outland) I received a message labeled "Error creating character". I looked around the threads here for a while and they all suggested the same thing: change some of the characters appearances (for example hair style, beard, face etc) but that didn't help me at all. I've tried creating a character on Medivh but I'm getting the same error. Any tips? Cheers.

maybe beacause of this: "Outland is currently having stability issues. We are working on resolving them. " ( From frontpage)
