Tired of broken Openwow and Wowhead WotLK links? Use this!
This website converts broken Openwow and Wowhead database links to the Evowow database, making them work again.
http://convert-wotlk.stackstaging.com
Just paste in the URL of the web page you want to convert (a page with broken links) and you'll get the same page with the links now working.
For example, say you are reading an old WotLK guide on Wowhead, like this one:
http://www.wowhead.com/forums&topic=144631
You just paste that URL into the converter and it will show you this:
http://convert-wotlk.stackstaging.co...topic%3D144631
Now all the links to the items, spells and talents that were broken will work, because they are pointing to the Evowow database instead of the Wowhead one, which has been updated and doesn't work for WotLK anymore. Also converts Openwow links which used to be the default database for WotLK before it disappeared.
Let me know what you think and spread the word if you found it useful.
