As said in that thread linked above, the que to enter Icecrown is long.... Really long.
Blizzard created multiple server but also made a feature so players are not dependent on what server they play on.
IE, i play on Icecrown and my friend of Loradeon we would still be able to talk, play, raid etc. Obviously more realms need to be created and i took Loradeon as an example nothing else.
This would then decrease the competition for npcs, quest, mobs, herbs and lots of other things but we would still be able to do arenas, raid, talk etc.
Blizzard created multiple server and u can cross-realm there because all servers has the same xp ratio,u cant play with Lordaeron players when there are blizzlike xp ratio.

"Loradeon as an example nothing else." What i ment was that Loradeon is not in this case an option because of exactly what you just said. If warmane was to do this other realms need to be created, basically a copy-paste the Icecrown server but obviously different names.
If they make cross realm and it works well, then yes I can see them splitting icecrown again. However, that won't be for awhile. Icecrown used to be 2 realms and one would always struggle with population. Hence, the merge, which also tripled the population because people love the large server. It would hopefully include cross realm BG/Raid/Dungeon and auction house, but it will be a long time because that's a lot of work. Just get premium if you can. 1 Euro in BTC, or 10 Euro's from a card or mobile payment is nothing... If you work, 10 euros is nothing,if you are young, try to do some chores or mow a lawn for someone, get a visa gift card if you can't use someone's debit or something.
