1. One could make that argument for caster staves for Hunters too. That doesn't mean it applies.
If that is the case, then it is the rule of what qualifies as a ninja needs to be addressed and revised.

    Agreed.

If the GMs want to ban for rolling need on offspec, it's their server, and their prerogative. But the community would be best served if that were made explicitly clear in the rules. Otherwise, it's a pretty shady operation to lay bans on folk for their ignorance on etiquette and for their pipe dream wacky specs.

I don't think there will be a problem with clearing the rules as when a shaman needs a 2 handed weapon and then someone from the whole group possibly a melee class (paladin , warrior, dk ,etc) who really needs it will rage and explain multiple times why they need it and the right thing to do about that is to trade the item back to the melee class and they wont report it and ban the shaman.
But this specific shaman didn't trade back the item even when the person who really needed it must have explained it to him/her. Nobody tries to reason with people before appealing for a ban on the forums, so the shaman is at fault here.

PS: When a shaman mentions his/her spec as "Ench" instead of enhancement or enhance spec clearly doesnt know **** about their class and should listen to other party members to learn the game.
