Character trade ate my gold

So I had a character on the shop with selling it with full inventory and gold. I decided to cancel it to change the price and now my gold is at 0. Character was on outland and had 4300gold. Is this from some anti gold farmer system? I haven't played the character or realm in months was just trying to sell the character since I don't intend to log there anymore.

edit- when I logged in my inventory addon stated that I had spent 4300 gold for this session
