Resolution issues - macOS 10.13.1 - can't play at all
Hi everyone!
I just started having issues with the resolution on my macbook. I'm on macOS 10.13.1. I've completely removed the game and OS cache files, re-extracted the .zip, and restarted multiple times but the issue persists. I'm basically going crazy because I can't fix this.
I found this thread searching. It's basically the same issue I've been having. It opens to a wonky resolution every time -- except now it opens to a huge resolution, so big I can't see the login boxes. Here's a screenshot.
I'm not really sure what else to do at this point. I'm thinking there's a cache file somewhere that I'm not able to find, because there just has to be a reason it opens like this even after a complete removal. I've reset permissions for my entire home folder. I even just tried downloading the Windows version (opening with the Wow.app file), and it's giving me the same issue.
The only resolution I've found is to use CMD+M to force WoW into windowed mode, then back again, which doesn't always work, and half the time causes WoW to run super slowly.
Any assistance is appreciated!

Using the CMD+M function detailed above, I am able to get the game displaying correctly. The game opens full screen, display the bottom left corner of the login screen as shown in my screenshot above. I then hit CMD+M to turn the view into windowed mode. I hit CMD+M again to put it back into full screen mode. After that, it displays correctly. However, I have to do this every single time I open the game, and half the time I do this the game is running extremely slow and choppy. Any help is appreciated!
