Changing appearence of character

Hello there,

first of i would sincerely like to apologize, if this section of the Forum is by any chance not the one where this kind of topic belongs to. :)
I also already asked this Question on the "Outland" Forum, but i did not get any answer there, so i apologize that i am asking here again.

So my question is really simple;
Is it somehow possible to change the look/appearance of my character? There are some features on him that im not quite happy with and i would rather like to replace them.
I read recently in the "My Account - services" section that there is the possibility to change the race and therefore the appearence of a character. So is it technically possible to only change the appearance, without race and gender?

So, is it possible then? Can i change the appearence and leave race and gender as it is? I would love to know that so that i can purchase the coins. :)

try it. First of all did you understand how does it work Race change on TBC realm?
Once you select "race change" it will ask you to select a lvl 1 character to copy the "new" race and new appearance.

check if it accepts a lvl 1 charcter wit the same race of your llv 70.

So just to be clear, at beginning:
Select Outlance Realm > Select your lvl 70 Character > Select Coins > select "race change"

then it asks "Select character race and appearence:" ( here you will select the lvl 1 chara ter just crated to copy appearance)
Continue and see if it obliges to select a different race

Gender change must be through race change, right?

it depends.
Generally speaking it is NOT possible to change ONLY Appearance/Gender via "race change" because the blizzard tool will force the player to pick a different race BUT on tbc realms it is different because there is no "blizzard tool".
It is all done via a custom system made by Warmane and most of us have no idea if it possible to change ONLY gender/appearance via tbc "reace change" feature.

So until someone tests it we will never know

Guess i will have to try then. From what i understand it could also be an option to first change the race etc. and then kinda 'change back' to the original race and gender with just another appearance. But that would mean: Double the coins must be paid.

Well, i will tell you what happened, once i tried it out.

Edit: But selecting a lvl1 character does not mean, that my lvl 70 character will also reset to lvl 1, does it? :D

no, the "lvl 1" character is just to copy his race and appearance.

As I said before I still do not know if it possible to keep the same race, so good luck

Just one more question: Will my character name also transfer to the new lvl1 character, or would i have to choose a new name?

the name of the "lvl1" charcter does NOT matter.
your main character character we will keep his own name BUT if you want during the process you can change the name fo free. That is why it says "apply free name change", but you can ignore that if you are not interested into it
