1. Question about coin gifting.

If a person gifts an other person coins, are they being locked?
If yes, will they still show in the account of the person who has been gifted?
The question is asked because a friend gifted me coins but they are not showing up yet in my account or gift history.
Is there propably a 24hour delay?

Please do not link me to http://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=327127 because the site not really answers my questions that i asked above.

  2. They show up instantly. If they did not show up then they were not sent. He either entered your character name or realm wrong or he has not sent it at all. Gifted coins are locked for 72 hours but that only means that they can not be used on gifting or trading during that time.

  3. Can they be in "hold" if the account it was send from is not in a "good standing"?

  4. No. 72 hour locked period already provides protection from abuse. There has been no information about any additional limitations. Questions like that usually happen when someone expects something in return for the gifted coins and wants to scam you. If that's not the case, he can check his gift history and he should be able to see character name and realm that he sent the gift to.

And if someone is expecting something in return for those coins, that's not really allowed:
