Old characters / coins recovery?

Hi there dear warmane community,

I stopped playing like two years ago, when I had a nice bunch of characters with some nice epic items and even some donated things. Last weekend my wife and I decided to play a bit again and I could find that my old account is still active, but none of my characters are here anymore, neither the coins returned, and I have just one lonely coin that seems I had spared before I stopped.
I have readen different topics but still can not find a concrete answer to determine if I can still recover my characters with all my items or at least the coins which I donated for.

I have almost the same problem with you. keeps track of the items that I still characterize in the game logs . but My character does not exist.

2 years ago the database was hijacked, YouTube 'moltdown' if you want an in depth explanation of what happened. But in short, someone stole the char database so we all had to start over, they had compensation available for quite some time but you guys are literally YEARS to late.

thanks for your reply, but that is not the case. My characters were already in Warmane, in a server called Deathwing if I remember correctly, and that was after the wipe of the molten server.

Deathwing and Ragnaros merged together a while ago (maybe over a year) and our characters were supposed to be transferred after the merge, not really sure if the option was only temporary, but i think the non-transferred characters were deleted.
