Hello, I'm just wondering if there is any work being done to fix this issue, as it is extremely annoying and unfair. If the player who pulled a boss leaves after it is killed and before it is looted, the items can no longer be looted by the raid group. This happens frequently in VoA raids, and I recently had it happen in a TBC raid. Being able to possibly ban these ninjas is not really enough, as the loot does not come back. It is also possible to accidentally trigger this, as you might leave the group before rolling is finished without malicious intent.
I don't know if it worked like this on retail, but I can't imagine that it did. I think it is very important to fix this and hopefully you're already working on it, but I just want to ask; will this get fixed at some point?
This is a well-known issue. They address it in the sticky post about reporting players (http://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=325598) but they only suggest reporting the player even though it is a game bug.
In the post about "In-game raid ninja policy" it says
"- Player exploiting game bug to bypass master loot. In such cases it is best if master looter would fill report that shows player leaving the raid and empty loot window."
which I assume is about the same issue, although I don't think it's limited to master loot.

It's not the same. If they leave after boss is killed, they don't get the loot. It just disappears. Chests allowed player to loot them after leaving raid but I think that's fixed. That seems to be what it refers to. Or leaving raid before boss is killed.
