I've been trying to get this to work for quite some time now, to no avail. I'm wondering if anyone else might have a solution.
Instant replay, for those who aren't familiar with shadowplay, is the function that allows you to save the previous 15-20 minutes of gameplay at the push of a button, rather than recording outright for hours and cutting segments off etc. It's extremely useful for games like WoW, when random unexpected things happen and you fail to start recording. For instance, a pesky rogue attacks you while drinking and at 10% hp, and you still manage to kill it. Who's going to believe you? Press a button and save the past predetermined length of game play. OH, not to mention, there's virtually no performance hit.
Anyhow, for those who are familiar, or interested...
I can record manually, ie. pressing a button to start and stop the recording, but when I try to use the instant replay function, it often saves a corrupt file. It will show that the file is 3.5gb or something close in sorts, but when I attempt to watch the video, in many different media players, it doesn't seem to want to work.
Many thanks in advance for any light that you lads and ladies may be able to shine on this issue! And for the trolls who make my day brighter by flaming this post. lol
I found your topic by googling about the problem, I got the same problem! since 3 months ago! , Nvidia didn't help me to fix this.
Guess what! looks like I found a fix today! and its works for me!
I got 1080ti , 1 SSD and 1 HDD
Shadowplay saves recorded files on my HDD! in same time he saves the temp files on the SSD!
So , what I did is so simple , I put the Temp save location and Recorded location to the same HDD in same folder too!
and its works!
The only reason why I register to this fourm is to help you!
