Burning Crusade Thunderfury Quest

Dear Warmane Team,

i got a big problem with the Thunderfury Quest, following happened:
It was always my dream to have Thunderfury for once, so i went some months ago to MC and farmed both Bindings + the Essence of the Firelord from Ragnaros, and farmed some Ores in BWL, but i stoped the farming in BWL after i got 4 Ores, because the Elementium smelting which is necessary for Thunderfury was buggy on Outland.
But few days ago this Bug (https://www.warmane.com/bugtracker/report/56465) got fixed, so i went into BWL and farmed 3 more Ores.. The rest of the materials i got from Lulleh (he got 1st Thunderfury on Outland few days ago).
Then i was pretty excited, cause i got all the materials and im super close to Thunderfury.
But then something unexpected happened:
I went with 3 Guildies to Silithus to complete the Quest and to kill Thunderaan for the last Questitem for Thunderfury, which we have done.
Then i faced following problem that i couldnt loot the Questitem from the corpse of Thunderaan. I had the Loot on Master Loot, and i guess this bugged it out, changed it to FFA but still not lootable.. Then the Corpse despawned, all my Materials (which took me 2months) are gone, no Questitem, no Quest and my Dream of Thunderfury fell apart.

Then i asked any ingame GM for help, but they can't give me materials back nor anything else. It would maybe help to summon Thunderaan, if this is possible. Bugtracker cant rly help me, because its very specific and it wont give me my materials back nor my time which i spend to get Thudnerfury.
So my Question: do u think anyone can help me to give me atleast my materials back or to summon Thunderaan? Or am i lost?

I'm really sorry to see this happening to you.

To break the issue down, I believe the looting works as intended. Quest Items cannot be master looted and this is indeed a quest item (correct me if I'm wrong ("Item Begins a Quest" after all) although the requirement to have it drop is to complete the previous quest)). The reason it's triggered by normal loot rules is its legendary quality (unlike normal quest items who are usually white in quality.

While I can't confirm it (feel free to check it out), it appears according to this video (https://youtu.be/4WbECX2Gs0c?t=446) that there should be a dialog option to be able to resummon the boss. And that's indeed missing here. As for the GMs, afaik they technically blocked to give out any items (understandable) so the short term solution would be for a GM to spawn the boss at an agreed time for you, so that you can re kill it. The long term (as others may face the same issue), is to add the dialog option to resummon the boss.

That wouldn't make a difference. Happened many times to us in raids, for example an epic gem drops. It's on ML, change to FFA but can't loot. Need to change back to ML as ML was what was on at the time the NPC died.

You can summon him infinite amount of times as long as you don't finish the quest.

I know this because I tried to solo Thunderaan last week on my 60 while someone else summoned him, I died, some other dude killed him and we resummoned him again.

Ended up with 3 of those giant blades in the ground :P

...And yes you can resummon him.
