Forum/Bugtracker subsection for Bug fixes with player input.
Hello !
Just yesterday I hopped on Frostwolf with the intent of leveling another Death Knight(Master Class). I was expecting to deal with the same issues I had before but boi I was in for a treat. Dialogues ? Perfect... Timing ? Perfect... Npc movements ? Holy **** lifelike... Cutscenes ? Available... Machinimas ? Gawd damn it its all there... Every piece of little detail that made me first fall in love with the Master Class... The orgasmic moment when Darion tosses the Ashbringer to Tirion and he goes like "Aaaarthaaaasssssss ! Blerghgskjdfhjkds" just feelsgoodman. I completed the zone with next to no issues with the only side effect of joyous positivity and it made me optimistic af going forwards. I would like to point out to the naysayers who will be like "why was a random zone prioritized over raid bosses" or "fix this **** so i can have this" or "Dk zones do not matter". It matters to me people. As someone who loves getting immersed into the game, the story, the questline. As someone who avidly played the Warcraft games and lorewhore over this stuff, it matters a lot to me and I would like to believe I am not the only one who feels this way.
Which brings me to my point... The changelogs are updated with the frequency of a solar eclipse. And while I realize that noting, cataloging and sorting the fixes takes a lot of time, it makes the beautiful moments and heartwarming fixes like the one's i experienced go unnoticed and the only way for players to know what's been fixed is through interaction with each other who have done that particular stuff untill the next changelog hits. I haven't specifically figured out the details but I would like to know if we could get a forum subsection specifically for content and bugs that are confirmed to be fixed by players themselves. Something like the working instances sticky. Players can add if something got fixed and the posts will be flushed every week starting anew and a link at the beginning leading to last weeks fixes. This can be further compressed into monthly link leading to a list of links for each week. It's just a wild idea at the moment and I would really like more suggestions from other players or staff that can add to the idea or make it better.
