[ANSWERED] Lag issues / VPNs

Hello,

As of lately myself and several other members of our guild / the server have been having connection stability issues. There were a few posts in the support / QA area about it as well. Problems where the internet was fine for anything except doing the raid we were doing. We would lag behind and the game wouldnt disconnect but be behind by a very large amount of time and eventually catch up. (Ex. We we fighting Mother in BT and we killed her but when she died for the rest of the guild, some of us still saw her at 40-60%)
To get to my question, some people were recommending a VPN as it could be how our internet is being routed. Now as a premium member who does not want to lose his account due to ban or anything of the like, are VPNs allowed here? If not is there something else i can do / try? Ive reset router/deleted cache/wtf folders/ tried a latency fixer/ disabled addons from full addons to no addons. Someone suggested a VPN but wasnt sure if they were allowed. If a staff member could get with me on some kind of solution or at least let me know if VPNs are allowed itd be greatly appreciated.

Yes, VPNs are allowed. Put and authenticator on your account just in case.
