WotLK Mount problem in cities.

Hi. I am having problems when I try to mount up in cities. It happend to me in Stormwind and Ironforge. It casts the mount but after that that is it.
Eventually I could mount up but only in the Stormwind Harbour and outside of the cities.

Any ideea what may cause this?

I had the same issue with a gnome. Wouldn't mount up anywhere near dwarves in Stormwind it seemed. I could mount up on the bridge between old town and the trade district usually.

I eventually changed mounts and it stopped.

My character is also a gnome. Did you periodically changed mounts or you did it only once and it stopped?

I got off the mechano strider and never got back on one. '-)
