WotLK transmog working properly yet?

is it yet possible to transmog polearms onto axes/swords/maces?

this is exactly how it worked on retail when i last played it so just wondering

hmm last i played on WoD I think, it may or may not have worked that way in Cata too but I distinctly remembering the post about it that Mercy (?) made mentioning that it works the same as it does on retail, presumably post-wotlk retail otherwise it wouldn't work at all.

I was just wondering if it was fixed to work as described or if it was even in the works.

Polearm <> Staff

Bow <> Gun <> Crossbow

Fist weapons <> fist weapons

Or maybe we use something like 5.2 rules for example?
