WotLK Suddenly Cannot Connect

I was playing recently for a couple of hours, no hiccups. I exited the game, and when I opened it back up, it seemed that the the files were once again read-only, although I had deactivated that (so that I did not have to accept agreements, and adjust video settings every time I close and reopen the game), and on top of that, I cannot connect to the servers now. Between closing and unopening I replaced an addon in my addon folder, like i have many times before. I have looked at other forums on connection issues and have made sure my realmlist has only "set realmlist logon.warmane.com" in it. I also took the addon i replaced out just in case, though it is recount 3.3.3 and I have used it before with warmane wow. There doesn't seem to be any other solution to this issue, and I've seen many other players have posted asking for help on this same issue, saying they close the game and sometimes just can't connect when they reopen it. I mention it seems to be read-only again because that is the only other thing that is different from before, when it did work. I have tried turning off read-only again, but every time I uncheck the box it seems to work, but I check the properties and it is once again read only. Anyone have any solutions to my warmane folder suddenly being permanently read-only and also, the bigger issue, being unable to connect to warmane servers?...

I had the same problem all day...idk what's happening...i reinstalled my windows, redown the game ...still having the same problem. I want to mention that my network speed its 1Gbps so this shouldn t be a problem
