i agree the process of selling toons needs to be adjusted but so does the players who buy them.
people wanting to buy toons are usually asking for way to much for low prices, like wanting a toon thats no less then full s3 with fast mount and epic flying max professions and max rep with gold for less then 100 coins....
i have an alt i been messing with for some time now with the intent to sell him but man people are thick, they want to much. my alt toon now has 2 pieces of s1 s3 off pieces s2 2 handed weapon and shoulders with s2 chest soon and s4 gloves in a week or so. what do people tell me?not good enough i want max rep epic flying ect ect...... a fresh toon with no gear at 70 is what 30 coins?i asked for 70 for my alt... i even tried to explain that my alt was capped in bgs = buy him and walk up to the vendor and buy what gear you wanted = no.... lol.

I don't think that the market needs a rework. It just needs a search function for specific professions/skills, reputations, tokens etc. The prices are decent. The time needed for me to grind all the items and skills in general would cost me more instead of spending 100-200 euros for coins to purchase the character.

A rework as proposed, involving being able to haggle with the seller, wouldn't change the prices, as those are based on the cost of items in our own Marketplace and that's going to remain.

Better fix bug that makes characters disappear from the market. I'm posting paladin on trade and after a few minutes he disappears and can't be found on the market...

According to the information I received, the logs say you had been cancelling the sales manually, which I assume was you trying to make sure it showed in the Search, and also that there's a current active sale up for it. There was indeed an issue keeping it from showing in Search, but it's fixed now.

nobody is buying characters. The system is beyond broken. Def. needs to be reworked.

1. People are buying characters. Your characters not being sold isn't a reflection of the system as a whole;
2. The system is optional, an extra tool we created to offer a possibility of passing over characters no long wanted - possibility, not assurance.

Me and several of my friends have been very successful selling characters, both in the sub 100 and ~300 coins range. I think it's fine.

System is not broken, it actually works fine, i've sold quite few chars on 3 of my accounts, pretty sure obnoxious can confirm that if he can see my logs or whatever they are. If i want to sell my main char i will still get a decent price from it and im okay with that, even after the warmane takes their "cut".
I just dont understand you boys, you want to buy a bis char for what 100 coins? whats in it for warmane or the seller? I would never sell my main under 1.5k coins wouldnt even consider it, even tho i play it once in a blue moon. System is great as it is, few tweeks here and there like the note thingy would be awesome!
