WotLK How to receive characters from a backup

Hello, I had Characters on the Lorderon server and now they are not there....granted its been about a year since i last logged in but i also did a backup as well....how do I retrieve my characters?

the backup is for warmane use only, it's incase the server's database gets !@#$ed up.

far as your characters check the restoration tab of the website, if they're not their then they're gone for good.

I did this:

Warmane client-side backup system creates a highly encrypted local backup of a user's account information as an additional layer of community data protection and disaster recovery. You can make a backup every 7 days.


I was wondering how to access that so i can get my stuff back :)

that is the backup i was refering to. it's not for you to use if your characters disappear. it's for warmane to use if their database messes up.
