Hey Guys,
I am a new WOW player (started playing 3 days ago on tbc) and I just feel like there's so much to know. I've seen some new player guides and I am completely lost. I also learned that there are addons that you're supposed to install that help with the gameplay and I dont know what to install. Can someone give me some new player tips or any general idea on what am I supposed to do at low levels?
Quests mainly. Explore and have fun. Addons aren't essential, but there are many addons to make your UI look smoother/better/modern. Addons to keep track of items, crafting materials etc.
Once you feel confident, you could try to join a group to instance or two. Chance of better loot and good exp (especially if you have quests for the said instance). You could also grab one or two professions and work on those, ie. skinning and leatherworking, herbalism and alchemy, mining and smithing etc. For a starting player I'd recommend just to have 1 gathering profession (skinning, herbalism, mining) and use that to get gold. Once you know what professions you want, perhaps later on, delete your current profession if needed and/or learn new one.
