Burning Crusade I want to change from horde to alliance but i can't do it in services?

I have a level 70 priest on this account (and a bank alt but that doesn't really matter) and I would like to take advantage of the free faction change, but when i go to services, select the character, select coins, and select faction change;

my character doesn't show up in the list and when i click i understand and okay it tells me i have to select a character of the opposite faction. what do i do?

it asks you to select a lvl 1 ally priest to copy his race/appearance.
So just create it
