Hello. I am new to the community and just downloaded 3.3.5 with updated models and currently running into problems. Everytime I open WoW.exe its opens like its the first time ever opening.. low resolution, pos agreement; all of that. No matter how many times I changed my video options they will never save. Therefor everytime I open the client I have to adjust the settings which is VERY annoying. If anybody could share any insight it would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Right click WoW folder, select "Properties" and uncheck "Read-only".

If you start to get crashes, get yourself "old" WotLK client. The upgraded models may be bit buggy and may cause several crashes.
