1. Pingzapper?

What I mean by this question is whether it is in accordance with Warmane's rules to use applications such as Pingzapper (it reduces my ms from around 450-ish to 250-ish which is a godsend). I've been told that if there were people who used the same IP granted by zapper to do shady stuff (to cheat or something?), I would risk getting my account banned as well.

In the case such a thing happens, is it possible to appeal for the ban?

Because my gameplay is hindered quite a lot by my ping, but I'm not sure if I want to risk my account altogether :/

  2. any type of vpn or ip changer can wind up getting you banned, depends on if you hit an ip used to break their rules. while you can make a ticket explaining what happened and get unbanned, it can take a few days to get a reply. and next time you use the program you can be hit with another ban.

a paid service would be less likely to cause a ban compared to a free one, bu there's no guarantee either way.

    Thanks for the reply!
If I can still appeal to resolve the issue, that's probably a risk I'm willing to take, I guess (since 200 ms reduction is HUGE, even more so when it gets laggier near peak hours).

I'm just afraid of the staff replying with something like "Unfortunately, using a third-party application goes against our rules, and so there is nothing we can do to help you," which would really hurt.

  4. i've seen different people get nailed with a ban for it, and they get unbanned after an appeal. if it makes you feel better tho you can always contact a staff member to verify it with them.

or send an email to [email protected] and ask there.

Alright, will do the latter just to be sure.

    Thank you for your help!
