I've macbook pro with iris graphics running it about 200fps on ultra settings. its just impossible that pc handling 10 years old game with 30 fps
so what possibly casuing this performance problem?
I'm not personally able to comment on what the exact issue may be, but what I can tell you that the Wrath version of the game is fairly old. Thus, it is poorly optimized compared to today's video game standards. The game engine is also old enough to where it is designed to have rendering rely much more on the processor than the gpu. On top of that, the game also doesn't support multi-threading (i.e. it doesn't support multiple processor cores). None of these things may be the cause, but maybe it's related. Maybe it's not related either, but at least it's good to know.
no its not about optimization there is another problem which I cant figure it out.
when I get in fight or crowd locations I get 3-4 fps. this cant be optimization problem because I remember 10 years ago I had over 160fps with older pcs.
even now macbook pro is giving me 200ish fps in same settings.
Only when you get in a fight or severely crowded location? Are you running any addons? If so, have you tried disabling them and see if that improves performance?
