Shadows Edge

Hi, I have recently purchased Shadows Edge from the website, I now seem to have an issue with the questline, surely I should be granted the quest https://www.wowhead.com/quest=24547/a-feast-of-souls - Please Advise, If i do not get the quest I'd like to refund the weapon cause whats the point of buying it otherwise?

I have tried this but it wont let me select the item which means I cannot create the ticket :(

So sad that this happens, the thing that annoys me is that the quest is useless without the item and the item is useless without the quest... so when you are buying this item you should gain the quest too.

Oh well, just means Warmane probably wont receive anymore donations from me no big deal :)

Items you buy from store do not give any quests. The item is not useless. The item is just an item and it has everything you see in its tooltip. When you buy Shadowmourne, you also aren't given any quests.

You can only make item misbuy ticket within 24 hours of purchasing the item. Choose different ticket type.

The item only exists because of a quest... Simple fact.

Then you should do the quest instead of purchasing the item. The quest requires completing previous quests not having Shadows Edge. Nothing on the store or elsewhere implies that you get a quest when you buy an item.

When you buy Shadowmourne, you also aren't given any quests..

The difference between SM and Shadows Edge... you need Shadows Edge to create SM and the questline is there to create SM... once you have SM the quest becomes useless... but Shadows Edge is a needed item for a quest chain, the fact you dont get given the questline is stupid it even causes bugs with the item quest and character... would be much better and easier to just give the questline with the purchase.

who said anything about implying that you get a quest... I am saying its stupid as dog turd to not give it, its like buying a ticket to see a singer you like only to not go and just keep the ticket for 'keepsake' this isnt 1960 ffs ;/
