Hi there, I created a character named "Sahsha" yesterday (New Zealand time) to check for my partner if it was taken.
It wasn't, so I deleted the character. When my partner tries to create a character with that name it says its taken.

Can we please clear the name? This was on the "Lordaeron" realm.

Staff implemented it on purpose and it isn't a bug. I can tell you my experience: I had a char on Icecrown which lost the name due inactivity cleanup. It was a level 14 druid.

I tested the name availability after cleanup and created a level 1 char with the result that the name was still available. I deleted the char and created a level 1 druid which leaded to the known feature "name taken". I could avoid this 30 day name blocking by renaming the level 14 druid by his original name.

If you test names, they will be automatically blocked for 30 days and only renamed chars can avoid this blocking. I suppose it should stop selling names by level 1 chars.
