I almost left the game, because of the level of gank I encountered and suffered during my leveling phase 70-80 in Sholazar basin. I was so angry and annoyed, got camped 5-10 times in a row, even when I res at the cemetery they would find and kill my noob a$$.
It's a pvp server. Part of the lore. Horde vs Alliance, we're enemies in this story.
I had *some* nice encounters with horde, I must admit. There was an occasional wave and a little bit of fishing together in WG. But most of the time, I gank. And I gank hard. I kill those hordies that just hit 80 or soon will. I fly around on my bronze drake above sholazar main questing spot, and I pick my targets. I don't mind when 10 hordies show up to protect their young ones, and eventually kill me. In fact I enjoy it, and I smile so much while playing that game.
This is an amazing game. Nothing comes easy in life, and this game is x7. Don't be frustrated if you die a couple of times. Wave your ganker and he'll probably leave you alone. If not, there is always another area to explore. If nothing else comes out of it, you might group with other players to defend yourselves, and maybe even get to know eachother better. This is a massive multiplayer game, no reason to solo the whole way through it.
Cheers.
