1. Reports dismissed

    Hi,
I'd like to know why has these following reports been dismissed (even if its are correct reports)?:
    https://www.warmane.com/bugtracker/report/86711
    https://www.warmane.com/bugtracker/report/86712
    https://www.warmane.com/bugtracker/report/86715
I've got a good idea in my mind: you watched if those bug were reported before, then you read fixed on another tickets and dismissed mines immediatly. All good except you forgot to check that the expansions are different. You fixed the TBC ones, but forgot about WOTLK.
    I'll wait for your answer.
    Thanks for the time

  2. the first 2 reports are about Naxxramas Raid for lvl 60, right?

  3. First 2 bug reports are indeed about old Naxxramas. Naxxrammas was moved to Dragonblight in WotLK and all old quests related to it are unobtainable - due to it not being the same raid anymore.

Third report - I did that quest 1 or 2 months ago and it worked fine.

Yes. Ok I understood, on the first and second report I'm wrong and you are both right. I rechecked, and since I'm a bit blind I saw they removed at patch 3.0.2. what about 3rd report? I checked with any other accounts, even with instant 80 chars, and can't get it.

  5. There probably is some prequest. Some things on Warmane don't add up. Similar thing to this is Scholomance questline. I've read that Call to Arms: Plaguelands wasn't necessary to start it and guess what - I had to do it on Warmane.

Good luck finding the prequest requirement. I know how you feel because I've had several reports also instantly dismissed.

Nope. Here you're extremly wrong. That quest is the start of a chain quest, I even checked wowpedia, wowwiki, cavernoftime, wowhead sites, nobody mentions about prerequisites (I even checked comments). I checked and recheked and I'm not that kind of player that leave quests undone. 2671 quests completed in the world (excluding northrend) https://imgur.com/a/cmWPjbC
That ticket has to be re-open if there is a bug.
Ps: I'm feeling good, I'm not pissed nor triggered, I just see that bugtracker is a bit confusing. There isn't any feedback nor reason on any dismisses, and I don't even know if there is a guideline to post bug. I just wanted a confrontation and I'm good with it.

  7. It has been checked by another qa but ill double check if it has a pre-quest that needs to be done. Whatever the result a comment will be on the report.

Yes the BT can be a bit confusing considering most qa created reports are private and cant be seen by players

EDIT: It was removed as a requirement for the followup quest in patch 3.3.0 but removed in cataclysm. However i still confirmed the report since technically it should still be in the game

Thanks for the answer. I'll wait for the comment. Reguarding the bugtracker, my suggestion is that it needs some update. I do understand that some bugs are here since the start of the server and have low priority to be fixed, but the fact that there are no feedbacks from players and there are 3000 reports for bugs already reported makes it a bit messy. ie: sometimes I saw multiple reports of the same bug, in some of them it says it's fixed, in some it says it's pending; people don't understand what is the main report of the bug and this confusion drives people nuts.

Basically if a report is marked as Fixed it has been fixed on live. If it is Pending it means corrections have been made but it needs to be checked and applied to live. Basically Pending can be seen as "We are working in it, it is not live yet" and Fixed means that it is live on the realm

When I googled it said they removed it as a requirement to the quest chain some time during the xpac (now i'm thinking it might've been in Cata or something), that's the only reason why I went and picked it up. Thought to myself, maybe Warmane still has it as a requirement.
    Irrelevant now.

Yes, well I forgot to say that I know how a "repository" works (well having 2 bros with a degree in computer science it's easy for me since they taught me the basic). I just wanted to underline that common people doesn't have a clue in it, so they get mad on something they don't understand. Most of them think that you're not fixing anything, but they forget problems are not easy to solve, and even the easiest one take a lot of time.
I saw also you closed/hided the report, so I won't reply anymore and wait for your job. I'm already fine that you considered to analyze it. Thanks

Yes I know. Indeed the next quest is "promises, promises...", and if you take and complete it, you won't be able to get "oooh, shinies!" anymore. The quest "oooh, shienies!" have been removed in cata. So yes It may be confusing because the npc "griftah" has been introduced at patch "2.2.0", zul'aman has been introduced at patch "Patch 2.3.0", and the quest has been added with zul'aman.
