Hello,
I'm new to the server and I plan to play on lordaeron. My main focus is PvE. Back in the days, during Wotlk, I played ALL the classes so I'm comfortable with all of them and have no particular prefrence. I want to know which class (caster and mele) is the most competitive on the dps meter and is on high demand when it comes to raids. Of course, I'm not asking in general but rather in regard of this server.
p.s: A top 3 caster would be very much appreciated.

Mage, warr, rogue are usually highest single target, though idk if patches have changed that of late. These classes however are usually not in high demand. I'd say druid is a good choice as boomkins are usually always desired due to their typhoon for vile spirits on LK, cyclone, bres and decent dps. Besides you can switch to the many other specs to basically guarantee yourself a spot in every raid plus most of the leather loot is restricted to you. Feral does good dps as well.
Mage>Boomkin>Priest/Warlock>Ele would probably be the caster tier list I'd say.Edited: December 19, 2019

Two different stories here.
High demand - healers and tanks, not quite competitive on the dps meter.
Competitive on the dps meter - any well geared mage or warlock

Can tell you what are the least played classes. Acording to my Census on Lordaeron, horde side. Rogue - Warlock - Mage quite close to each other. Top played are Paladin Warrios DK.
In the end it matters a guild. Random groups they take anything with gear. You know how is this game, so roll what you love man.
