should i? population? pvp?

hey, i hated wotlk expansion to a certain extent and quit, but only wow private server that has decent population atm seems to do be this one.
i prefer tbc or vanilla, before themepark mode basically. but i like wow pvp enough to deal with it and older now to where it could prove a benefit. question is population adequate? good pvp? i don't care if overpowered dicks runnin around. thats every server ever. i don't want to put in the boring monotonous pve work to get decently geared just to find out no one pvps. done it already, not doing it again. thanks for any honest answers.

There's plenty of BGs daily and solo que was just brought in for arena so should be active. BGs also have gear brackets so you don't have to get stomped when you enter PvP. Wintergrasp tends to be littered with multiboxers and naked green characters though. I find wotlk pvp better to tbc and vanilla because its faster paced, the cast times/attack time are much faster and you don't run out of mana too fast. Also several classes got new abilities to balance out pvp overall.
