most powerful class for duel

Hi guys, please, give me advice about what class in lich king is most powerful in duel? Or who have less anticlasses. I was reading another threads like that, but people didnt come to the same opinion. Dk, ret? Something has changed?

Depends on how good both players are. With ret you gotta be careful about timing your hand of freedom / protection / wings / buffs, as those are all stats that frost mage can spell steal. If you want easy win > take free action potion. If going for fair fight, it's 50-50, depends totally on both players skills.

Warlock > have no idea, probably medium-hard.
Shadow priest - i've seen duels outside Stormwind and saw full bis ret vs shadow priest and priest would win always in that fight. He would literally spam mind control and that way he won against ret.

Also you can play arms warrior as well for solo class, too good but requires good dance stance otherwise you're bad.

It's still "have less anticlasses" which is what the OP is asking for.
Lock and SP has no chance really. However, I do agree a consistently well-played frost mage makes things 50/50.

No matter the debate, you can't say lock/priest/mage are "the most powerful in duel" either how, as they have their own counters - more of them in comparison, and more hard-countered compared to a ret facing a frost mage.

...Except here, with bugged minimum range from charge/intercept and capable of hitting from 3 meters and through walls, it's unkittable and will have a monstrous uptime on his enemy, a bis SM war can wreck basically all classes in 1v1.

Can't think of any class that would be wrecked by a warrior. Esp when he is BiS geared because all the PvE offparts makes him quite squishy in 1v1.
A full pvp geared Awarr with +1420 resilience and +40k hp is a much harder opponent to some classes such as Fmage or rog.

what race is better for ret? main trouble is casters, will two pve trinkets help when you stay in frost novas half time of duel? Or blood elf silence better? you cant use draenei naaru, cause spellsteal?
i dont care about 2x2 and 3x3, only duels.

If we will look at ladder from other servers, we will see dks, locks and priests at the top of 1x1 0-10-20 places. Maybe 1 pally at the bottom of that list.
