The question above is pretty straightforward. I know that fishbot is not allowed and even if it was legal i'd never use it. I guess everyone who's into multiboxing have thought of this method as an "easy" farming tool, but I've never seen anyone doing this even though there are some pretty nice tutorials and addons for it and it's very very easy. One might say that this method will give you an advantage over others that abuse the normal system, which is stated in the Players Code of Conduct as exploiting. I know this server allows for unlimited multiboxing and questionable "advantages" like winning WG with the help of a mboxer or soloing whole raids as one person. That's why I'm asking this question, I'd use it to make huge amounts of buff food for my guild bank, I would hardly sell any of the fish / food I make. I have the toons, I have the addons, but I don't want to get into it until it's clear to me that this is legal and not bannable.
How can you click on bauble if on every box its different position?
There are addons that indicate which bauble is ready. Let's say you have 5 toons fishing simultaneously, you arrange the game clients in a way that the focus is set to the area of water you're fishing in. Of course, you bind a key or write a macro that casts fishing on every toon. You cast it, then wait for the addon to indicate which toon's bauble is ready. You click them all, wait until they're are all finished, then cast it again. It's basically about how fast you can click since there are times when all 5 toons get the fish just seconds from each other, or even at once. I'd say that fishing with 5 or less toons doesn't even require the addon, since it can be followed with your bare eye. Fishing with insane toons like 25-30+ just simply doesn't worth the invested time and money imo, plus doing that might get you some warnings from the staff since if you were to sell the fish / buff food you could easily make 20k+++ in an hour. Moreover, no one opens that many accounts just to fish, it's just a convenient "side activity" to mboxing, the main part is doing pvp or raids anyways.
How can you click them all, how do you get from master to click on bauble on slaves. Switch to tab who has caught fish? I don't get it.
Any auto on "collecting fish" part will probably get you banned.
Well, you run 5 clients in window mode in a way that you can see all 5 at the same time and only the water is displayed. I never tried it, don't know how well it works but the idea behind it doesn't have flaws as far as I know. Here's a video, it's made in WoD but I think it's close to how it would work here.
Pretty cool idea, I dont know how could that be braking the rules or even worse than running around and oneshotting everyone with mbox.
But since we got all kinds of weird bans for things that people have done in game since beginning of time - better send this vid to some staff member and ask to be sure.
